Chapters V-VIII
In chapter 5, Odysseus came to the island of AEolus and AEolus put all the wind in one bag and gave it to Odysseus. Then told Odysseus that if he doesn't open the bag he shall travel safely to Ithaka. They saw Ithaka after 10 days but his crew members opened the bag as if it was some sort of treasure. They opened it and all the winds came out and pushed the boat off course. They came back to AEolus and he said go by yourself. the sailed to the AEan island and met Circe. He let Eurylochus and his men to Circe. They drank drugged wine and turned into pigs. Eurylochus ran and told Odysseus that. Odysseus came and pulled his sword out and me Circe swear that she would not treat him guilefully then he made her turn all the pigs back. In chapter 6 ,After a year Circe told Odysseus the dangers he was about to face. She told him about the sirens,Scylla and Charybdis. The ship approached the sirens and the crew had wax in their ears but Odysseus was tied to the mast trying to escape. They got past the sirens and approached Scylla. They past Scylla with 6 people dead. They came to an island with very precious cattle of the sun. Odysseus told his men not to eat any cattle, but of course the eat some. Then a thunderbolt struck the ship and killed all of his men.
In chapter 7 king Alcinious gives Odysseus a ship to sail to Ithaka. At Ithaka he meets Athene and Athene disguised Odysseus as a beggar.
In chapter 8 Odysseus meets Eumaeus the swineherd and Eumaeus tells his story.
